Today we’re rolling out a major update to the Nectarblocks web app. This one is heavily shaped by your feedback, especially around how things feel when you’re managing projects, handling billing, and handing work off to clients.
This update is all about improving the day-to-day experience in Nectarblocks, especially around management and client handoff. It also sets the stage for what’s coming next, with Version 3 just around the corner.
Here’s what’s new.
Billing, right inside the app
You can now manage everything related to billing directly inside Nectarblocks. No more being redirected out to Stripe or any external portals. It’s all handled in one place.
You can also view and download your invoices right from the app, making it much easier to keep track of billing without digging through emails.
On top of that, the underlying Stripe integration has been improved across the board. That means more reliable payments, better handling of edge cases.
A faster, simpler checkout experience
Checkout has been completely reworked.
The interface itself is cleaner and more responsive, particularly on mobile. We also improved validation, error handling, and loading states so the whole process feels more predictable.
A smoother path for license upgrades
Upgrading your license is now much more straightforward.
Everything happens in-app, with a clear upgrade flow and side-by-side pricing where it matters. We also show detailed prorated credits, so you can see exactly how your existing plan is applied and what you’ll pay before moving forward.
A more reliable login and signup experience
We’ve redesigned the authentication flow to make it more consistent and less frustrating. That includes better onboarding, clearer error messages, and improved mobile layouts.
A new status page
We’ve launched a dedicated status page so you can check in on the app at any time: https://status.nectarblocks.com/
It gives you real-time insight into system health, including API availability and key services like billing.
Improvements across the board
A lot of work went into the foundation as well. You might not see all of it directly, but you’ll feel it.
